Benchmark Indicators for Solid Waste Management: India
In the urban sector , there were number of performance indicators related to urban management and service delivery that were defined, measured and reported in the past. But these indicators failed to improve the performance delivery in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs)/ Utility Agencies.Therefore to benchmark the service delivery and hence improve the performance delivery SLB initiative was launched.
