The major objectives of the event is to:
- Discuss the lessons learnt from national and international waste management projects. Identify the barriers in the effective implementation of policies & regulations in social waste management Europe.
- Create awareness on the environmental, economic & social impacts of solid waste management in the society through three fold exclusive management techniques:
- Participants will apply UNITAR self-assessment tools to compare and rate policies for solid waste management.
- Participants will explore financing and practical integration of selected practices taking into consideration their specific situation.
